QA Automation Engineer (Java)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive QA Automation Engineer with solid experience in Java automation to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements/design reviews to ensure testability and become acquainted with new product enhancements.
• Create and support test documentation (including test plans/test specifications/test results) to align with project requirements and timelines.
• Develop and maintain test cases/test scripts/test suites.

• Automate repetitive manual tests using Java.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various frameworks.
• Developing and executing non-functional tests (performance).
• Select and implement appropriate testing tools based on project needs.

• Work on new and enhanced software releases of applications in an accurate and timely manner.
• Collaborate with developers to prioritise and resolve defects effectively.
• Proactively identify and propose improvements to the testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing methodologies and tools. 

Requirements

Must have

• Upper-Intermediate English level.
• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• 4+ years of related work experience.

• Solid test automation experience with Java.

• Experience with Performance testing.
• Good knowledge of QA theory and computer science fundamentals: design patterns, development architecture, databases, MQ, concurrency, distributed systems.

• Experience in integration with CI/CD.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundation level certification.
• Experience in setting up testing processes from scratch.

• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Database knowledge (SQL).
• Experience with automation build tools (e.g., Maven), agile/project management tools (e.g., Xray), and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Experience with JUnit.
