Senior Python Developer

STDev is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Python Developer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Python.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Design and implement efficient database solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and reusable code.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical challenges.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and development best practices.
• Experience with web scraping in Python.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and background task processing.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• English communication skills.
• Comfortable using AI in day-to-day development and adopting agentic workflows, with sound judgment and ownership of the quality of the code delivered.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
