I am interested in the ML Engineer (with Full-Stack) contract. My strongest fit is on the Python/FastAPI and ML/NLP side of the role, where my portfolio covers model pipelines, inference APIs, retrieval systems, databases, evaluation and containerized delivery.
I have built FastAPI-based AI services, a production-oriented RAG architecture using PostgreSQL/pgvector and Redis, hybrid semantic retrieval with Sentence Transformers and lexical reranking, and multilingual NLP applications using Hugging Face Transformers. My ML work also includes PyTorch, Scikit-learn, multimodal learning, model evaluation and subject-independent validation.
I would bring strong ownership of the ML/backend layer: data processing, inference APIs, SQL/database integration, testing, Docker and model evaluation. I also understand the end-to-end product context and can collaborate effectively with frontend engineers.
I would not position myself as a React specialist; React and AWS ECS/Fargate are the main areas where this role extends beyond my strongest public portfolio. If the requirement is for an ML engineer who can own the Python/FastAPI and ML application layer while working across a broader full-stack team, I believe the fit is strong.
