PROTECTION INTERN AT UNHCR at UNHCR (2017-07 – 2018-01)

I have worked as a protection assistant in FO Van, with my supervisor Ekrem Duman. I have been active in various positions in the office such as administration, child protection, and interpreter, one to one refugee interviews of filling in the forms of PRF, BIA, HRI, BID, SAF, petty cash, and incident report. I have worked in the field and became familiar with the authorities of such as RC, PDMM, and municipalities while working with them I have learned the communications with the organizations.

Also worked along with our partner organizations of ASAM and HRDF.

INTERNSHIP/ EUROPEAN UNİON DEPARTMENT at ANTALYA TİCARET VE SANAYİ ODASI (2015-06 – 2015-08)

Contributed by working in various projects such as fairs and match making for companies abroad on the system of ACCI, learned and practiced actual work on the Enterprise European Network. Experienced international system of working by joining in meetings and doing business in commerce sector and became part of the chamber. During the interntship I was a part of the administrative team and assist Chamber staff in providing networking events, arraging sectoral education paograms,and communications for members.

Our project included the relations between relevant EU departments and Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Therefore scheduling meetings during the EU Commercial Progress Program, arraging related administrative duties and being assistant for inventatory system helped me to get familiar with working under cooperated organization.

Project Manager at Seyhan Municipality (2023-11 – 2024-03)

The position of Project Manager for the Seyhan Municipality's partnership with the UNDP and the Japanese government entails a pivotal role in empowering refugee women of Afghan nationality through the creation of a gluten-free pasta production enterprise. Leading this innovative initiative, the Project Manager will be tasked with orchestrating all aspects of the project, from initial planning to execution. This includes collaborating closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives, overseeing the implementation of training programs for the women involved, and fostering their integration into the local business community.

The ultimate goal is to not only provide sustainable employment opportunities but also to promote women's economic independence and social empowerment with the help of Seyhan Municipality and UNDP.
