İzmir Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü Biyomühendislik Bölümü'nden %100 İngilizce lisans eğitimi alarak mezun oldum ve ardından 2 yıl boyunca yine aynı bölümde tezli yüksek lisans eğitimi aldım. Lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimim boyunca, kanser araştırmaları, hidrojel teknolojileri, protein (enzim) mühendisliği, gen terapisi ve bitki biyolojisi gibi pek çok farklı alanda laboratuvar çalışmaları, bilimsel araştırmalar ve raporlama konularında tecrübe edindim. Tecrübelerimi aktarabileceğim ve bana başka tecrübeler kazandıracak, biyomühendislik alanında bir iş arayışındayım.

Graduate Researcher at İzmir Institute of Technology, Sürmeli Research Group (2022-01 – 2024-12)

• Investigated CYP119 and P450cam within a thesis project on thermophilic cytochrome P450 structural analysis.
• Performed plasmid isolation, media preparation, bacterial transformation, PCR, restriction digestion, SDS-PAGE, and agarose gel electrophoresis.
• Conducted recombinant protein expression experiments and monitored OD and absorbance measurements for growth and analysis.

Undergraduate Research Trainee at İzmir Institute of Technology, Sürmeli Research Group (2021-01 – 2022-12)

• Supported recombinant sericin-like protein production, purification, and characterization through theory and hands-on lab practice.
• Applied SDS-PAGE, BCA protein assay, Ni-NTA purification, plasmid isolation, transformation, and spectrophotometric measurements.

Research Intern, Plant Tissue Culture Center at Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Aegean Agricultural Research Institute (2021-01 – 2021-12)

• Sub-cultured potato, carnation, and bougainvillea varieties; prepared culture media and observed DNA isolation and Qubit testing for Phytophthora infestans mating types.

• Conducted experiments as part of the production, purification, and characterization of recombinant sericin-like protein.
• Performed plasmid isolation, media preparation, bacterial transformation, PCR, restriction digestion, SDS-PAGE, and agarose gel electrophoresis.
• Assisted in recombinant protein expression experiments and monitored OD and absorbance measurements for bacterial growth and protein analysis.

• Prepared PEGDA hydrogels through azo-initiated free-radical polymerization and evaluated hydrogel swelling behavior.
