• Architected and developed from scratch the complete firmware for a commercial ESP32-WROVER connected emergency-lighting platform using ESP-IDF, FreeRTOS and Embedded C; the platform was deployed across 10,000+ active field devices.
• Implemented a complete DALI communication stack, including software Manchester encoding/decoding, interrupt- and timer-driven receive/transmit handling, device status monitoring, fault detection, identification, and function/duration test control.
• Designed a Wi-Fi mesh architecture supporting up to 40 devices per network, with BLE/BluFi provisioning, secure mobile-to-device communication, state synchronization, persistent NVS storage, recovery mechanisms and mesh-distributed OTA updates.
• Implemented secure provisioning using Diffie-Hellman key exchange, AES-128 symmetric encryption and CRC16 integrity checks; integrated MQTT/TCP connectivity and AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM configuration and operational log analysis.
• Developed and maintained FreeRTOS-based concurrent firmware using tasks, queues, semaphores, mutexes, event groups, software timers, ISR-to-task synchronization, watchdogs and memory/stack diagnostics.
• Led technical development of a 3-engineer team for an STM32H563/FreeRTOS product and proprietary DALI-line communication protocol, owning technical decisions, task decomposition, sprint planning, daily coordination, code reviews and engineering support.
• Established firmware engineering workflows using SCons, Jenkins, Bitbucket/GitHub and build agents, enabling repository-triggered and automated daily builds; worked actively with Jira and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Performed board bring-up, peripheral validation and complex firmware/hardware debugging across ESP32, STM32 and EFM32 platforms using GDB, JTAG/SWD, ST-Link/J-Link, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol test equipment.
• Built unit, integration, HIL and regression test workflows using Unity/CMock, Python automation, mocks/stubs, static analysis, code coverage and MISRA C practices; produced technical documentation with Doxygen.

• Developed Embedded C firmware for Atmel/Microchip MCU-based industrial IoT and data-acquisition products, including SAMD and AT/AVR-family devices.
• Developed ADC-based welding monitoring and analysis algorithms using Rogowski-coil measurements, including software filtering, RMS calculations, frame processing and process-specific analysis for gas metal arc, AC spot, mid-frequency spot and DC spot welding.
