How to Change Your Password

Keeping your password up to date is one of the simplest ways to protect your BeBee account. Whether you want to strengthen your current password or you suspect someone else may have access, changing it takes less than a minute.

Steps to Change Your Password

1. Log in to your BeBee account.
2. Navigate to Dashboard > Settings.
3. Select the Security tab.
4. Click Change Password.
5. Enter your current password, then type your new password twice to confirm.
6. Click Save Changes.

You will receive a confirmation email once your password has been updated.

Password Requirements

Your new password must meet the following criteria:

• At least 8 characters long
• Contains at least one uppercase letter
• Contains at least one number
• Contains at least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $)

Setting a Password for Google OAuth Accounts

If you originally signed up using Google, you can still create a password for email-based login:

1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Security.
2. Click Set Password.
3. Enter and confirm your new password.
4. Click Save.

After setting a password, you can log in using either Google or your email and password. Your Google login will continue to work as before.

Tips for a Strong Password

• Use a passphrase (a string of random words) rather than a single word with substitutions.
• Avoid reusing passwords from other sites.
• Consider using a password manager to generate and store unique passwords.
• Enable any additional security features available in your account settings.

Trouble Logging In?

If you cannot access your account after a password change, use the Forgot password link on the login page. A reset email will be sent to the address associated with your account. If you do not receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact BeBee Support.
