We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Taipei. The ideal candidate will thrive in the fast-paced iGaming sector, playing a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the setup and maintenance of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/GitLab CI, designing and implementing a fully automated process covering code submission, automated builds, unit testing, and automated deployment.
- Integrate tools like Git, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Nexus/Harbor to form a complete DevOps toolchain.
- Handle the daily management of operating systems like Linux, being proficient in writing scripts using Shell/Python, and utilizing tools like Ansible for automated operations. Responsible for the creation, configuration, and lifecycle management of AWS EC2 instances.
- Responsible for the deployment, scaling, shrinking, and upgrading of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability of clusters. Familiarity with basic operations for managing container clusters on AWS EKS.
- Familiar with open-source monitoring systems like Prometheus and Zabbix, responsible for monitoring cluster status, promptly identifying, and addressing potential issues. Collaborate with AWS CloudWatch for cloud resource monitoring and alert configuration.
- Responsible for daily configuration of CDN products, cache policy adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
- Participate in the rapid response and resolution of production failures, capable of quickly identifying common issues and resolving them. Possess troubleshooting capabilities for AWS network-related issues.
- Proficient in daily operations and maintenance of mainstream middleware and databases, including configuration management, backup, recovery, and basic performance optimization. Familiar with basic operations and maintenance of AWS RDS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with over 3 years of experience in large-scale production system operations, preferably in computer-related majors.
- In-depth understanding of Linux systems, familiarity with system commands and kernel parameters, capable of basic system tuning.
- Proficient in at least one of Shell or Python, capable of writing automation scripts to replace repetitive tasks.
- Proficient in at least one of Jenkins or GitLab CI, capable of independently designing multi-environment release pipelines, familiar with pipeline-as-code practices.
- Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes, with practical deployment and maintenance experience.
- Familiar with core AWS products (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS), AWS certification preferred.
- Understand CDN working principles, familiar with daily configuration of at least one mainstream CDN product.
- Familiar with TCP/IP, HTTP, and other network protocols, understand common network troubleshooting methods.
- Strong problem analysis skills and a sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Fluency in Chinese and English.
