Server Hardware Engineer

【Job Description】

• Assist in architecture development, assessment, and concept incubation
• Design engineering solutions for the platform and system
• Collaborate with other hardware engineers or outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies, design margin analysis, validation analyses, and empirical testing
• Design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate key platform components; integrate sub-systems and firmware with hardware
• Ensure integrated circuitry based on established engineering principles and development technology practices
• Collaborate and communicate with management, internal peer functions, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution
• Develop and implement test plans including validation of hardware circuit quality/robustness, mechanical tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal, and system power
• Evaluate reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques from prototype fabrication to production
