Software Application Engineer

【Client Description】

Responsible for technical application and customer support of semiconductor equipment software systems, including Software Troubleshooting, System Log Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve software-related issues. Collaborate with Software Development and cross-functional engineering teams to perform Software Validation, Bug Fix Verification, Functional Testing, and Software Upgrades, ensuring system stability and product reliability.

【Candidate Profile】

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, machine vision, industrial automation, or related industries.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret software logs and diagnostic information.
• Experience supporting customer-facing equipment or software systems.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication and coordination skills across multiple teams.

【Responsibilities】

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for semiconductor equipment software systems.
• Investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot software-related issues reported by customers and field service teams.
• Collect and analyze system logs, diagnostic information, and test results to identify root causes.
• Coordinate with Software Engineering teams to escalate issues and validate corrective actions.
• Perform software validation and regression testing for new releases and bug fixes.
• Support equipment installation, software deployment, upgrades, and customer acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate issue status to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Field Service Engineers, Product Engineers, and Software Developers to improve product quality and reliability.
• Travel to domestic and international customer sites as required.
