Experience : 3 - 15 Years

Must have experience

• Testing of UEFI/BIOS on ARM-based platforms
• System-level Testing for Windows on ARM
• Validate firmware applications running on ARM processors
• Conduct interface testing for UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, and DAC.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Embedded System Testing
• Working experience with Agile development teams
• Should be able to understand the software stack from BIOS/Firmware through OS driver.
• Review software requirements, clarify with customer and provide inputs to team.
• Prepare and review test plans, test cases using the requirement specifications.
• Report and track defects and assist developers in their understanding.
• Responsible for defect prioritization, root cause analysis of testing
• Coordinate activities with offshore team and status updates to customer

Work Experience

Required Skills

• Good understanding of software stack from BIOS/Firmware through OS driver
• Familiar with BIOS flashing and FW updates. Should be able to test firmware, device drivers.
• Should be capable of testing with Embedded Controllers
• Knowledge in developing Automation testing
• Should have good communication skills and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in test management tools like Azure and JIRA.
• Experience in requirement analysis, test estimation, reviewing test plans and strategy.
• Knowledge in QA process and standards to improve the product quality for the organization.

Nice to Have

• Experience in testing using ARM tool chain.
• UEFI testing experience.
• Knowledge of Devops pipeline and production environment.
