Full Stack React/Node Engineer

Forte Group is looking for a Senior AI React/Node (Next.js) Engineer to join the team developing an intelligent, privacy-first platform that enables users to find employees and candidate profiles using natural-language queries that can express complex semantic, multi-criteria conditions and custom attributes.

Senior AI React/Node (Next.js) Engineer will contribute directly to the codebase while leading a talented team of 3 engineers. You will drive architectural decisions, set technical direction, promote and integrate AI into daily workflows to boost productivity, and accelerate delivery. Technologies:

Google SSO for Authentication

CursorAI, GitHub CoPilot Responsibilities

Foster an AI-first engineering culture, promoting effective adoption of AI tools and practices across the team

Provide technical leadership and serve as the primary senior engineering point of contact for the team

Lead and actively participate in technical interviews and candidate evaluations

Own architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and clearly communicated across the team

Design backend systems with clear modular boundaries, enabling service independence and cross-application reusability where feasible

Guide engineers in task-level decision-making to ensure architectural alignment and minimize unnecessary technical debt

Own non-functional requirements, such as backend stability and monitoring, backend performance, 3rd party services selection, and cost efficiency

Contribute hands-on to feature design and implementation as a senior software engineer Support investigation and resolution of issues reported by end users

Collaborate closely with DevOps on topics related to the infrastructure configuration and changes
