Key Responsibilities
Develop backend solutions based on modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and microservice architecture.
Participate in application architecture and solution design.
Take part in architecture and code reviews.
Design and implement unit, integration, functional, and other types of tests.
Develop highly testable, scalable, performant, and maintainable code.
Work with Agile methodologies and participate in Scrum activities.
Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, architects, QA, and other stakeholders.
Communicate directly with the client on a daily basis to clarify requirements and discuss technical solutions.
Contribute to technical documentation and feature design.
Troubleshoot, profile, debug, and optimize applications.
Participate in refactoring and continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
5 years of commercial software development experience.
3 years of strong commercial experience with Java.
Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, DDD, TDD/BDD, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and backend development.
Experience with high-performance and high-load systems.
Good knowledge of Kotlin and reactive programming, preferably with Spring Boot Reactor.
Experience with Node.js / TypeScript, particularly for AWS Lambda functions.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication and authorization flows, OAuth, JWT, and network protocols.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or Oracle.
Experience with NoSQL / key-value storage such as Redis or Memcached.
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or similar.
Experience with Docker and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
Understanding of security principles and common vulnerabilities, including OWASP.
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Ability to communicate directly with international clients and clarify technical requirements.
English: Upper-Intermediate (B2 ) or higher.
