What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with

Java backend development

• Hands-on experience with legacy system migration
• Ability to read and understand VB.NET code
• Experience working with poorly documented or complex systems
• Independent, pragmatic, and delivery-oriented mindset
• Solid problem-solving and debugging skills

Your responsibilities

• Analyze and understand existing VB.NET services
• Rebuild and migrate them into modern Java-based solutions
• Gradually eliminate legacy dependencies
• Support migration of key components (APIs, data import tools, communication services)
• Provide bug fixing and support for legacy services during transition
• Ensure stable delivery without critical regressions
• Contribute to the target architecture and best practices
