About this course
This module turns the first minutes on a construction site into a repeatable readiness routine. You will read the work package, check the workfront, identify the next safe action, and give a concise handover. Before minute five you will have a site readiness card that can be used during an interview or on a first shift. This module shows how construction teams convert a broad package into an orderly workfront. You will sequence activities, check quantities and access, coordinate with other trades, use common site records, and communicate a change before it becomes rework. The practical exercises cover a material check and an interview answer about a delayed task. This module connects everyday construction controls with the quality of the finished work. You will recognise common hazards, respect permits and temporary works, use a stop and escalate routine, make useful quality checks, and report environmental or access changes. The exercises practise a pre-task conversation and a concise nonconformance report. This module turns daily construction activity into evidence that a supervisor, surveyor, client, or next shift can understand. You will distinguish planned, started, installed, inspected, and accepted work; record quantities and constraints; use photographs and notes responsibly; and close the shift with an honest handover. The exercises practise a progress log and an interview explanation of a missed target. The final module turns the course into an employable working routine. You will organise a first month on site, communicate across roles, handle a correction without defensiveness, prepare evidence for an interview, and build a personal improvement log. The goal is dependable construction behaviour that can be observed by a supervisor and repeated across trades and projects.
