Four Directions

There are many parts to making a business successful. Problems often occur however, when we think about too many things at the same time. What if we focused on just four directions? Would it make it easier? What are those directions?
These are the four directions that may be helpful.
Solve A Problem
As long as consumers have problems, they will always search for solutions. People will always look for better, faster and smarter ways to accomplish everyday tasks. And fortunately for entrepreneurs, there are still lots of room for improvements in existing products.
Be Authentic.
Authentic people accept their strengths and weaknesses. They are accountable. They are connected to their values and desires and act deliberately in ways that are consistent with those qualities.
Be Grateful
Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you.
Be Of Value
Being the status quo is not good enough. To be successful you must add value to everything you do. Go the extra mile.
As a Direct Support Professional these four directions are important everyday. Although the clients we support have development disabilities, they are very sensitive to tone of voice, body language and emotions. Β You may be surprised at how much they process and already know about you. Every day is unpredictable so during any shift it is possible to touch on all four directions. Β
How does this apply in your work? Β What four direction guide you everyday? Β
