How Loading Time Affects your Website and/or App
I think this opinion about User Experience can be important for any entrepreneur and also anybody who is working on a product/service. CC Federico 🐝 Álvarez San Martín, Alberto Anaya Arcas, Alberto Anaya Arcas, Noël De Castro García, Daniel Paz, Jorge Lázaro Molina ... and all the team !!! :-)
Page loading time is obviously the most important part of any website’s user experience. And many times we’ll let it slide to accommodate better aesthetic design, new nifty functionality or to add more content to web pages. Unfortunately, website visitors tend to care more about speed than all the bells and whistles we want to add to our websites.
This is the reason why beBee is working on an ULTRA fast platform. We will be launching a very fast platform soon. We are sure you will enjoy it and you will never suffer from slowness. But we will not be launching it until it is as fast as jamaican sprinters :-)
Younger people are less permissive with slowness. They have no patience and they want everything fast and right now ! .
Additionally, page loading time is also a very important factor when it comes to search engine rankings. This is becoming more important for any website.

Facts and Stats from KISSmetrics:
- 75% of mobile internet users say that they’ve encountered a website that was too slow to load.
- 50% of mobile internet users say that they’ve encountered a website that crashed, froze, or received an error.
- 40% of mobile internet users say that they’ve encountered a website that wasn’t available.
- 50% of consumers expect a web page to load in ONE second or less.
- 40% of people abandon a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load.
- A 1 second delay in page response can result in a 10% reduction in conversions.
Slow-loading websites cost retailers £1.73bn in lost sales each year
