How many portfolio items can I add?

There is no fixed limit. Add as many projects as you need to represent your best work. Focus on quality over quantity -- a curated selection of strong projects makes a better impression than a long list of minor ones.

What image formats are supported for portfolio items?

You can upload JPG, PNG, and WebP images. Each image is automatically optimized for fast loading. Use high-resolution screenshots or photos for the best visual impact.

Can I reorder my portfolio items?

Yes. On the portfolio section of your profile, drag and drop items to arrange them in your preferred order. Place your strongest or most recent work first.

What file formats are supported for CV upload?

BeBee accepts PDF and DOCX files. For the best parsing results, use a clean, text-based PDF rather than a scanned image. If your CV is in another format, convert it to PDF before uploading.

Will uploading a CV overwrite my existing profile information?

No. The AI extraction presents suggested additions as a preview. You review and approve each item before it is added to your profile. Your existing information stays intact unless you choose to replace it.

Is my CV file visible to other users?

Your uploaded CV file is stored securely and is not directly visible to other users or recruiters. Only the profile information you approve and publish appears on your public profile.

Why should I verify my phone number?

A verified phone number adds a trust signal to your profile. It also enables contact permission features that let recruiters and clients reach you directly by phone or WhatsApp, which can speed up the hiring or project engagement process.

I did not receive the SMS code. What should I do?

Wait at least 60 seconds, then click Resend Code. Make sure your phone number includes the correct country code and that your device can receive SMS messages. If you are using a VoIP number, try a standard mobile number instead.

Can I change my verified phone number later?

Yes. Go to Settings > Phone Verification, enter your new number, and complete the SMS verification process again. The previous number will be replaced.

If I set my profile to private, can employers I applied to still see it?

Yes. Employers and clients you have directly applied to or submitted proposals to can always view your profile regardless of your visibility setting. The private setting only removes you from public search results and recruiter browsing.

How does Premium affect my visibility in search results?

Premium users receive a ranking boost in people search results, meaning their profiles appear higher when recruiters or other users search for matching skills. Premium profiles also display a badge that signals credibility.

Can I hide specific sections of my profile?

You cannot hide individual sections, but you can leave them empty. Only sections with content are displayed on your public profile. For contact details specifically, use the contact permissions settings to control what is shared and with whom.
