Can I edit my service request after publishing it?

Yes. Go to your Dashboard, open the request you want to change, and click Edit. You can update the description, budget, timeline, and category at any time before accepting a proposal.

How many proposals will I receive?

The number of proposals depends on your project's category and requirements. BeBee's real-time matching engine notifies freelancers whose skills align with your request, so you typically receive relevant proposals within hours.

How many proposals can I send per month?

It depends on your subscription tier. Basic accounts have a limited number of proposals. Premium members can send up to 10 proposals per month, and Premium Plus members enjoy unlimited proposals.

Can I withdraw a proposal after sending it?

Yes. You can withdraw a pending proposal at any time from your Dashboard under the Proposals section, as long as the client has not yet accepted it.

Will the client see my full profile when I send a proposal?

Yes. When you submit a proposal, the client can view your BeBee profile, including your skills, portfolio, reviews, and work history. Make sure your profile is complete and up to date.

How does BeBee match opportunities to my profile?

BeBee uses real-time matching that compares your listed skills, service offerings, and profile information against new service requests. When a request aligns with your expertise, it appears in your Opportunities dashboard.

Why am I not seeing any opportunities?

Make sure your profile includes accurate skills and service offerings. The matching engine relies on this information. Also check that you have selected the correct categories for your services. If your skills are very niche, opportunities may appear less frequently.

Can I get notified when new opportunities appear?

Yes. BeBee sends push notifications when a new service request matches your profile. Make sure notifications are enabled in your browser or device settings, and check your notification preferences in your account settings.

How do I close a service request?

Go to Dashboard > My Requests, open the request you want to close, and select Close Request. You can close a request at any time, whether or not you have accepted a proposal.

Can I reopen a closed service request?

Currently, closed requests cannot be reopened. If you need the same service again, create a new request. You can copy the details from your previous request to save time.

How do I communicate with freelancers who sent proposals?

Click on any proposal to view the freelancer's details, then use the BeBee messaging system to ask questions, discuss scope, or negotiate terms. All communication stays within the platform.

Can I select multiple categories for a single service request?

Each service request is assigned one primary category. If your project spans multiple areas, choose the category that best represents the core of the work. You can mention secondary skills and requirements in the description.

What if my service does not fit any existing category?

Choose the closest matching category and describe your specific needs in detail. BeBee's matching engine also reads your description and skills, so freelancers with the right expertise will still find your request.
