Title: Actimize w/Java Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Please send me anyone you might find for Dallas, TX and Iselin, NJ as well - we can try to push manager to consider these locations as well)

Relocation: Yes – Open to seeing candidates who are willing to relocate at either location at their own diem

Rate: $69-72/hr. on W2 (Slightly flexible on rate for right candidate) + $5/hr. referral fee.

Candidate must on Apex's W2

Duration: 12 Months Contract with potential to extend

Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3x each week

  • Someone who can create plugins in Java
  • Actimize ( ActOne/RCM) – If they have ALM they are not good fit

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with hands‑on experience in NICE Actimize (ActOne/RCM), Java development, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate has strong engineering fundamentals, experience building ActOne/RCM plug‑ins, and a proven ability to deliver high‑quality solutions in an Agile enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance solutions within the NICE Actimize Case Management platform (ActOne / RCM).
  • Build and maintain ActOne/RCM Java plug‑ins, ensuring performance, scalability, and adherence to platform standards.
  • Develop high‑quality Java applications with a solid understanding of the Java memory model.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and work across multiple database platforms.
  • Implement cloud‑native and 12‑factor application patterns in distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality software.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps workflows.
  • Work with event‑streaming technologies such as Kafka to build scalable integrations.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across the full stack.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong background in software engineering, demonstrated through professional experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Hands‑on experience with NICE Actimize Case Management (ActOne / RCM) development.
  • Experience developing ActOne/RCM Java plug‑ins.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
  • Experience writing Java applications, including plug‑ins for ActOne.
  • Knowledge of 12‑factor and cloud‑native design principles.
  • Cloud experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or PCF.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, and methodologies like TDD or BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working with database platforms such as MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar.
  • Experience with Kafka for event‑driven architectures.
