Role: AI Program Coordinator/Technical PM
Location: Fully Remote (EST)
Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire
Overview:
The Client is building a first-of-its-kind, greenfield AI and agentic solution in-house. They need a seasoned Technical PM or Program Coordinator to serve as the central coordination point between engineering, AI/ML leads, and senior leadership. This is not a traditional Scrum-driven PM role. The ideal candidate is technically grounded, an exceptional communicator, and genuinely curious about AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between engineering, AI/ML teams, and senior stakeholders
- Translate complex AI and agentic concepts into clear updates for non-technical audiences
- Own daily cross-functional coordination across a distributed team
- Create lightweight accountability structures without traditional Scrum ceremonies
- Surface blockers early and drive alignment with urgency
- Help build a reusable AI delivery playbook by documenting decisions and patterns
Must Haves:
- Proven PM or Program Management background with hands-on technical depth (engineering, data, or AI/ML background strongly preferred)
- Genuine curiosity and working knowledge of AI, LLMs, and agentic systems. Candidates must be able to speak the language fluently
- Exceptional communication skills, comfortable with senior leadership as well as technical teams
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
