About the role:
As an Analytic Engineer, with TQL you will be supporting the FP&A department by developing scalable reporting solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
This role will focus on migrating data from on-premises systems to the cloud, building and optimizing SQL views and pipelines, and creating governed Power BI datasets and semantic models.

What you'll be doing:
- Migrate FP&A datasets from on-premises to Microsoft Fabric/Lakehouse
- Build and maintain SQL pipelines, transformations, and views that support reporting needs
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability through automation, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices
- Design, publish, and manage Power BI certified datasets, semantic models, and reports/dashboards
- Apply best practices in DAX, modeling, and governance to enable accurate, self-service reporting
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical deliverables
- Implement processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across financial and operational systems
- Maintain documentation of data models, business logic, and reporting standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting reporting accuracy or performance
- Collaborate with Data Governance and Quality teams to align with enterprise standards and metadata frameworks
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in BI/data engineering or analytics engineering
- Advanced SQL skills with proven experience in building and optimizing large-scale datasets
- Strong Power BI expertise (datasets, DAX, performance tuning, semantic models)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse/cloud data platforms preferred
- Knowledge of financial reporting concepts and ability to work with FP&A stakeholders p
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bridge Finance and IT needs
