Requirements
Must have:
- Epic Tapestry Certification required - 5-8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering in the Epic healthcare environment - Proven track record in designing and developing analytic-ready datasets and enterprise DataMarts for reporting and operational analytics - Hands-on experience with data lake or modern data platforms like Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or Snowflake - Strong skills in developing and optimizing SQL-based data transformations across extensive, intricate datasets - Demonstrated capabilities in creating dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI - Proficient in Python for data processing, automation, and analytical workflows - Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and validation - Familiarity with AI/ML or LLM-based applications like data summarization, classification, or insights generation - Experience in healthcare data domains such as claims, enrollment, provider data, or electronic health records (Epic Clarity preferred) - Knowledge of regulatory or audit-driven reporting requirements (e.g., CMS, HEDIS, Medicare Advantage)
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage analytic-ready datasets - Lead the development of enterprise DataMarts - Ensure alignment with standardized business definitions and CMS-driven logic - Collaborate with Managed Care, Finance, and Operations to stabilize and implement requirements - Build and refine data pipelines leveraging Databricks and enterprise data platforms - Integrate data from various sources including Epic Clarity, Tapestry, claims, and external vendors - Assist in the transformation and validation of large-scale datasets - Automate data workflows to minimize manual involvement and enhance reliability - Create and sustain Tableau and Power BI dashboards conforming to DSS standards - Facilitate self-service analytics by providing curated datasets instead of ad-hoc reports - Utilize Python for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics workflows - Incorporate LLM-based functionalities for summarization, classification, and insight generation - Collaborate in the development of AI-driven data products to support operational decision-making - Aid in the transition towards automated data pipelines and AI-enhanced datasets
