Job Title: Multimedia and Android Framework Engineer

Location: (Remote / Hybrid / On-site – City, Country) Newark , CA

Employment Type: (Full-time / Part-time / Contract) FTE/Contract W2

Pay Range: 120K - 130K + Benefits

Responsibilities

Design and develop Android Framework services such as Audio & Camera streaming

• Collaborate with product and architecture teams reviewing and defining requirements, design, project plan etc.
• Implement AOSP functionalities such as core services, HAL features etc.
• Write unit tests, CI/CD pipelines, static analysis, bug fixing etc.

Requirements

• Engineer skilled in Android Framework development with strong experience of Android Automotive and Basic Android AOSP framework
• Design and Development of Android framework interfaces and services
• Experience on multimedia frameworks – Audio & Camera streaming
• Strong hands-on C, C++, and Android Java programming experience
• Minimum 3 years Android platform development experience
• Engineer skilled in QNX/Linux platform development with strong experience on embedded platform.
• Good to have knowledge on Bluetooth & Wi-Fi domain
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
