We will entertain candidates who have significant Web UI experience and light or no services experience:

This is an onsite position based in Midtown Manhattan - please do not submit REMOTE resumes. The candidate will be expected to work onsite day 1 no exceptions. We do have hybrid work schedules with 2-3 days in the office and work from home. May change in to full in office for the future.

Skills Required:

• Strong Web frontend developer (4+ years) with substantial HTML5/Angular experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Responsive designs
• Experience with common libraries (jQuery and Angular/Ember/React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc.)
• Knowledge of native DOM and Event APIs
• Good understanding of web performance and how browsers and DOM work
• Solid experience with unit testing of frontend components
• Excellent analytical & communication skillsNice to have:
• Experience with BDD testing and tools
• Experience with distributed systems architecture concepts such as micro services and micro frontends
• Experience with software development and collaboration tools (GitHub, Jira/Rally, Confluence, etc.)
• Experience in using GIT for source control management, and Automated Build Deployment tools (eg: Jenkins)
• Significant open source or other community contribution
• Understanding of functional and reactive programming in Java
• Experience in using Spring Containers (with Spring Boot) for enterprise applications
• Experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and skilled in Open API (swagger) specification
• Experience in relational data bases like DB2 or PostgreSQL
• Experience with unit testing of frontend components
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
