Sevan Multi Site Solutions is a veteran owned business that provides construction program management real estate & site development and architecture & engineering services for restaurant grocery fuel and convenience store retail and government sectors nationwide We work with leading brands like McDonalds Starbucks Sprouts and BP to name a few At Sevan we provide the talent technology and trusted expertise needed to consistently deliver excellence in multi site construction Sevan is an INC 5000 Fastest Growing Company Great Places to Work 2024 2024 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award Best Places to work in Chicago 20 21 22 23 Best Places to Work in Construction 2023 2024 Summary The Architectural Designer is a member of the design studio to provide architectural services to Sevans clients nationwide A design professional accountable for producing accurate design and construction documents for retail andor restaurant commercial multi site clients and supporting other team members in achieving team goals This is a remote position for individuals living in Monterrey or Juarez Mexico who will work alongside our architecture design reality capture and civil engineering teams in the United States Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares complete accurate and code compliant construction documentsProvides technical and creative design solutions that align with program intentResponsible for determining the appropriate building components and their design applicationResponsible for meeting project schedules deadlines and commitments for all projectsAssists the project manager in coordinating work with consultants contractors fabricators specification writers and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesNotifies supervisor of changes in project scope and advises if a change order proposal is neededPossesses a working knowledge of building codes and ADA requirementsConducts project due diligence with municipalities to determine local zoning and building code requirementsAccountable for resolving plan review comments from code officialsProject liaison to code officials outside consultants suppliers and contractors regarding questions to the construction documentsReviews evaluates others work and provides productive feedback and technical directionWorks with supervisor and peers to pursue professional developmentParticipates in the development of more junior members of the teamSelf starter with the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision on large scope projects with many complexitiesMay represent the company at client project meetings Visits project sites to verify scope exiting conditions and other related activitiesOther duties as assignedQualifications Bachelors degree in Architecture Licensed Architect or pursuing license or2 years related experience andor training;
