Aertssen Logistics USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Assembler 2 to join our growing team. This position performs final assembly of heavy equipment, including operating and pulling machines, installing heavy parts and cabins on construction equipment, and performing intermediate technical assembly work, including Travel alarms, attachment installations, and harness routing.
Uses hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment to install and align additional machine components such as Travel alarms, attachment installations, and harness routing.
Performs all Assembler 1 (basic and intermediate) duties independently and accurately.
Demonstrates an understanding of electrical and mechanical integrations.
Conducts detailed inspections to ensure client specifications are met.
Works with Caterpillar, Kubota, and JCB gensets equipment.
All this is always carried out in accordance with our company's quality, environmental, and health policies.
Previous experience in assembly line work or technical services on machines.
Responds appropriately to direction and feedback.
Intermediate mechanical and electrical understanding required.
Proficient with tool use and machine assembly techniques.
Demonstrates initiative in solving moderately complex problems.
Consistently meets quality and productivity standards.
Strong attention to detail; ability to work with accuracy and with minimal supervision.
Acts as a dependable and proactive team member.
Contributes ideas to improve efficiency and quality.
Communicates effectively with peers and supervisors.
Ability to lift, push, and or pull objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely as required.
Must be okay with working in small, confined spaces.
Ability to climb up, under, around, and over large equipment, and work at heights of up to 30 feet.
A current, valid driver's license and insurable driving record is required.
Recent forklift experience required.
