Our client is an employee focused, growing specialty contractor covering Upstate NY The Job:

As Assistant Controller, you will be an integral part of the accounting process and a hands-on leader to work with the Controller to strengthen day-to-day accounting, project and job-cost reporting, manage cash flow as well as ensure strong internal controls are maintained.

Key attributes for Success:

· Construction and project-based accounting experience including AIA billing management

· Highly organized and able to evaluate and report on all project activity accurately to ensure effective cash flow

· Oversee and develop staff for future growth within company

· Strong systems and reporting skills

Minimum Requirements:

· 5-7 years of project or construction accounting experience

· BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA a+

· Advanced Excel

· 2+ years supervisory experience

Salary: $110k+ excellent benefits/bonus
