Net2Source (N2S)Cloud Greenfield (CGF) team is responsible for planning, designing and implementing next generation cloud solutions for FCA NAFTA.Cloud Engineer will report to the CGF team and will be responsible for creating a strong reusable foundation and automations to enable standardized hosting of applications in cloud.
Cloud Engineer will collaborate with application team, Global Design, Network, Security, Database, and other CTO teams to drive technical decisions and deliver solutions for CGF initiatives.
Create azure cloud native foundation for user management, security, capacity, monitoring and application development tools
Hands-on experience in security services with SSO, application identity management, privileged access management
Hands-on experience in data encryption, key management
Expertise in AKS & Kubernetes services
Experience with networking topology such as Hub-Spoke with shared services
Experience with network peering, expressroute configuration
Experience in performing various POC and choosing right tool for the environment
Configuration of cloud monitoring tools
Architect & automate templates for deploying IaaS, PaaS, Infrastructure as a code and Configuration as a code
Standardize cloud costing models to enable timely cross charging between CTO and applications.
Implement dashboards for managing cloud performance and budgetary alerts.
Analyze existing on premise application landscapes to implement refactoring or rebuilding major application initiatives in Cloud.
Create integrations for Cloud and On-premise Applications
Minimum of three years of proven hands on experience working with cloud based technologies such as Azure
Microsoft certified azure solution architect or equivalent certification (Good to have)
Strong understanding for utilizing native cloud technologies for user management, security, costing and tools.
Broad in-depth understanding for onboarding applications onto IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings, deployment automation, DevOps, scripting, containers and Cloud Governance
Prior application/infrastructure architecture and cloud certifications are a huge plus.
Strong communication, documentation, managing delivery timelines and multitasking skills are a must.
