Back-End C#.NET Developer

Summary

Our client is seeking a Back-End C#.NET Developer to guide the development and support of application systems and implement technical changes. This developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing systems to ensure successful integration with other applications, as well as mentoring and guiding team members on technical and process best practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend vendor solutions.
• Complete large-scale development projects including designing, coding, testing, and implementing them.
• Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and stakeholders to meet project goals and timelines.
• Deliver high-quality software solutions on-time and within scope while ensuring compliance with standards, security policies, and industry regulations.
• Translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain system and technical documentation, diagrams, and workflows.
• Design schema, create tables, and normalize data structures.
• Migrate data including ETL and bulk loading
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend technical solutions.
• Deconstruct and refactor complex queries.
• Optimize and tune queries.
• Coordinate testing across systems and interfaces; execute quality assurance processes.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge transfer.
• Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Development staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of application development experience with C#.NET (Blazor, API, SQL).
• Technical proficiency in coding, writing SQL statements, designing databases, integrating systems, maintaining version control, and adhering to testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of how to normalize data structures.
• Strong SQL Development experience; ability to write and understand complex queries fully.
• Ability to deconstruct and refactor complex queries.
• Experience leading medium to large projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, time management, and effective communication skills.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

This is a 12-month Contract opportunity with our Topeka, KS client. Employee benefits include Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k). H1-B Visa sponsorship is not available.
