Back-End Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- We require an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

• We need a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• We require at least 8 years of experience in back-end development.
• We need expertise in one or more back-end languages such as Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or Node.js.
• We require strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as NoSQL platforms like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• We need experience designing and developing APIs, including REST and GraphQL.
• We require proficiency with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with container tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• We need familiarity with server-side frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET.
• We require solid understanding of database architecture and performance tuning.
• We need experience integrating and developing APIs.
• We require knowledge of security best practices for classified environments.
• We need experience working with authentication and authorization systems.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with classified systems and their security requirements.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of TSSC operations and requirements.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with signal processing and data analysis techniques.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with high-performance computing for data processing.

Responsibilities:

- We design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.

• We build and manage databases while protecting data integrity and security.
• We design and tune database queries and data access layers.
• We integrate with Government authentication systems and security frameworks.
• We write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• We lead code reviews and promote best practices in back-end engineering.
• We implement security controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• We create and maintain documentation for back-end systems and interfaces.
• We collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration.
• We coordinate with the data engineering team on database design and implementation.
• We provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.

Company:

We are offering a full-time back-end developer opportunity with a salary range of $135,000 to $185,000 per year.
