Back End Engineer - Java/Python Expertise

Requirements

Must have:

- Proficient in back-end development and data orchestration - Experience with AWS stack (Glue, S3, Lambda, Node.js) or equivalent cloud platforms (Azure/Google Cloud) - Knowledge of large-scale migrations from legacy systems to cloud environments - Strong expertise in managing and optimizing high-volume data through serverless and microservices architectures - Familiarity with SAFe or Agile methodologies and managing dynamic priorities - Excellent communication skills, capable of advocating for technical designs while accommodating business needs - Preferred experience in the Health Insurance or Health Plan industry - Understanding of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines in a cloud setting - Consultative mindset to influence design decisions

Responsibilities:

- Translate legacy mainframe systems to cloud by interpreting complex documentation - Recommend pathways for modernizing existing integrations to minimize disruption to claims processing - Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions meet cloud architecture standards - Design and enhance back-end data flows using cloud-native services - Engage in collaborative sessions to address challenges between legacy and modern data structures - Participate as a core member of the technical Health Plan Administration team, contributing to Agile practices - Simplify complex technical concepts for stakeholders to assist in backlog prioritization
