Basic Nursing Assistant Classroom Instructor

This is a full-time position for the school year that will be split between Woodstock High School and Woodstock North High School.

Key Instructor Requirements (Illinois)

License:

Current, active, and unencumbered IL Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience

Long-Term Care

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in providing long-term care facility services or, in some cases, geriatrics

Training:

Successful completion of a Department-approved Train the Trainer course and Approved Evaluator workshop

Note:

RNs with a BSN or higher are exempt from the formal evaluator workshop but still require approval

Background:

No record of abuse, neglect, or misappropriated property

Approval:

Must receive official approval from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) before teaching.
