Requirements

Must have:

- 3-5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in a production environment - Demonstrated proficiency with Kubernetes, including pod debugging and Helm release management - Solid experience with Terraform across various environments, including state management and module utilization - Practical knowledge of operating MySQL in a production setting, including replication and performance troubleshooting - Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins or GitHub Actions - Prior on-call experience, including incident diagnosis and postmortem documentation - Understanding of monitoring solutions, such as Prometheus and Grafana - Basic networking concepts, including VPNs, private endpoints, load balancers, and TLS management

Responsibilities:

- Ensure production stability by monitoring and resolving infrastructure issues across multiple Kubernetes clusters and linked services - Take ownership of on-call responsibilities; respond to alerts, investigate incidents using Grafana, and spearhead resolution efforts - Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for our microservices, including automating development deployments and manual production releases - Oversee infrastructure management using Terraform for Google Cloud resources, facilitating PR-driven changes with Atlantis - Support Kubernetes operations through various tasks, such as Helm chart management and cluster maintenance - Drive improvements in observability by expanding Grafana dashboards and refining Prometheus alerting rules
