Cloud Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (Java Applications)
Minneapolis, MN (On Site)
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and hands-on expertise in deploying Java-based applications in the cloud.
The ideal candidate will work closely with development and platform teams to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based Java applications.
Deploy, configure, and manage Java applications on Google Cloud Platform
Work with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud SQL
Support application build, release, and deployment activities
Troubleshoot cloud and application-related issues
Ensure application scalability, performance, and security
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Hands-on experience deploying Java applications in cloud environments
Understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring
Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
Experience with microservices and Spring Boot
Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
