Enterprise Architect – Cloud & Platform Architecture
Location : Irvine, California, United States (Hybrid)
Experience Required
- *8–16 years overall IT experience; 5–7+ years in cloud/platform architecture;
- *It is permanent Full time role (NO contractors)
- *Hiring only US citizen / Green card holder / GC-EAD / TN visa holder
- *Skills Required**
Experience designing enterprise cloud foundations (landing zones, guardrails, workload onboarding)
Understanding of scalability, availability, disaster recovery, and performance design
Knowledge of hub-spoke networking patterns, private connectivity, and segmentation
Experience with RBAC, privileged access patterns, and baseline security controls
Familiarity with policy-driven governance approaches
Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and automation patterns
Monitoring/observability architecture for centralized logging and alerting
Awareness of cost optimization/FinOps concepts and tagging standards
- *Responsibilities**
Define identity and access architecture for cloud: RBAC, privileged access patterns (e.g., just-in-time), and separation of duties
Architect enterprise networking patterns (hub-and-spoke, hybrid connectivity, private endpoints) and standardized segmentation
Define governance and security baselines using policy-driven controls and enterprise monitoring/security patterns
Establish platform observability architecture (central logging, metrics, alerting) and integrate security monitoring patterns
Drive implementation strategy thinking: assessment/planning for landing zones, workload migration suitability, and scalability planning
Evolve platform foundation toward automation and governance-as-code practices; embed operational controls and cost-awareness principles
Define reference architectures and golden patterns for application teams to accelerate safe delivery
Support architecture reviews and ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise architecture direction
