Excentium, IncWe have an opportunity for a Cloud Security Engineer supporting one of our Federal customers in Washington D.C.
REMOTE — Primarily telework; occasional on-site as needed
Full-Time
Implement and maintain cloud security controls for BOP cloud environments
Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices)
Configure and manage cloud security monitoring and logging
Perform security assessments of cloud infrastructure and applications
Remediate cloud security findings and vulnerabilities
Develop automation scripts for security configuration and compliance checking
Support container security implementation (image scanning, runtime protection)
Maintain cloud security documentation and standard operating procedures
Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services
Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes, image scanning)
Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools and secure coding practices
Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools
Understanding of zero trust architecture principles
Multiple certifications required — Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) AND Security (Security+, CCSP, CEH, or equivalent)
