Cloud Solution Architect

Client is in need of a highly qualified Cloud Solution Architect. The candidate will be responsible for Client's cloud adoption strategy, Security and Infrastructure Architecture. It will involve analyzing private, public, hybrid, PaaS, IaaS, SaaS options and defining a multiyear value driven platform strategy for Client.

In this role, you'll work with leaders throughout the enterprise. This team focuses primarily on the strategic and tactical technology architecture for Fidelity's institutional and intermediary business. This position will be based in Smithfield, RI.

Primary Responsibilities:

Define the Cloud Strategy for FIAM and translate it into action.

Define a multiyear Cloud solution and infrastructure, security roadmap.

Design & govern security architecture in keeping with Enterprise standards

Design and govern the cross datacenter infrastructure architecture in keeping with enterprise standards. Partner with project teams, vendors, support organizations, functional architects, systems specialists and other technical resources in this hands-on role driving cloud migration/adoption from inception to production implementation.

Collaborate with the product, data, and infrastructure architects and be responsible for the defining-designing-delivering the technical architectures, patterns, technical quality, risks, fitness for purpose and operability of technical architecture solutions.

Assume responsibility for technical presentations demonstrating a good understanding of application, data, infrastructure, architecture expertise and application systems design.

Mentor implementation teams and conduct deep-dive "hands-on" education/training sessions to transfer knowledge to developers/product managers

Experience and Skills:

Experience establishing a strategy for and implementing cloud enterprise solutions in AWS and/or Azure.

Experience with PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, Private, Public, hybrid cloud

Hands-on technology knowledge and recognized expertise in public- and hybrid-cloud tools and technologies covering Automated provisioning, configuration management,, e g:

Automated provisioning, configuration management, DevOps, uDeploy Chef/Puppet, Docker/ContainersKnowledge of Security, Authentication, Authorization, Data privacy, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cryptography / Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols.

e.g. Multi-factor, SAML, O-Auth, OIDC, XACML etc.

Experience with Linux, Microsoft, VMWare, ESX Server Stacks. Experience with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level is preferred; awareness of both current and developing technologies such as Oracle, Pivotal, TCS Server, Cassandra, Informatica & WS02.

Enterprise application integration.

Understanding and applying IT Security requirements

Understanding network topologies, load balancing and segmenting.

Familiar application design and development, including best practices such as 12 Factor.

Working with matrix teams including teams in different time zones.

Experience with Monitoring, Support and Audit.
