• *Position Overview**

We’re hiring an enthusiastic Code Sensei (Coding Instructor) to join our team! Senseis are the heart of our dojo, leading engaging coding sessions, supporting students through challenges, and creating a fun, safe, and inspiring learning environment.

This is a great opportunity for college students, future teachers, or anyone passionate about STEM education, technology, or video games who wants to make a positive impact.

• *Responsibilities
• Teach and guide students through the Code Ninjas curriculum, helping them learn JavaScript, MakeCode, and other beginner programming concepts.
• Coach students (“Ninjas”) as they progress through coding belts and complete projects.
• Lead or assist with STEM camps (Roblox, Minecraft, AI, 3D Printing, LEGO Robotics, etc.).
• Communicate student progress and highlights to parents after classes and tours.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
• Handle daily opening and closing tasks, and help keep the dojo clean and organized.
• Provide daily and weekly updates to the Center Director and management team.
• *Qualifications
• Experience working with children ages 7+ (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, teaching, coaching, or childcare).
• Interest in technology, gaming, robotics, or coding.
• Basic knowledge of programming or willingness to learn (training provided).
• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality that connects well with kids.
• Dependable and comfortable working in a team environment.
