Commercial Plumbing Service Technician – $2,500 Sign-On Bonus | Employee-Owned

We’re growing our commercial plumbing service team in the Harrisburg area and are looking for experienced Commercial Plumbing Service Technicians — this is not a construction or installation role. The right candidate will have a strong troubleshooting background, proven customer interaction skills, and the ability to run service calls independently.
Compensation: Hourly rates starting at $37/hr+ DOE
What You’ll Do
This is a
service position, not a plumbing installation role. As a trusted representative of HB McClure you will:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing and drainage systems, water heaters, and fixtures
- Work on specialized systems including: sewer ejection pits and controls, commercial water heaters and mixing valves, flushometers, booster pumps, closed loop pipe systems, and pressure reducing valves
- Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and communicate clearly with customers
- Complete service documentation using company-provided tablet/phone
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of commercial plumbing service experience (installation-only experience does not meet requirements)
- Ability to run service and emergency calls independently
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, diagnostics, and repairs
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written)
- High school diploma/GED required; trade/technical school preferred
- Valid PA driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Journeyman/Master License preferred, not required

service technician role — candidates with only plumbing installation, construction or only residential experience will not be considered.
