Their platform combines machine learning, 3D vision, and spatial computing to help enterprise customers better understand complex real-world operations through visual data.
As the company continues to scale, they are looking for a
Senior Computer Vision Engineer
to lead the development of core perception and reconstruction algorithms. This is an opportunity to work on challenging problems involving large-scale imagery, localization, mapping, and 3D scene understanding while collaborating with a highly experienced engineering and research team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced computer vision algorithms for localization, mapping and 3D scene reconstruction.
- Build scalable machine learning and computer vision solutions for processing large visual datasets.
- Develop and improve perception systems using a combination of classical computer vision and modern deep learning techniques.
- Research, prototype and validate new algorithms using real-world data.
- Work closely with software engineers to deploy research into production systems.
- Help define data collection, annotation and evaluation strategies to improve model performance.
- Monitor and optimize deployed models for accuracy, robustness and scalability.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics or a related discipline (or equivalent commercial experience).
- 5+ years of industry experience developing computer vision or machine learning solutions.
- Strong understanding of camera geometry, calibration and 3D transformations.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- SLAM
- Structure from Motion (SfM)
- Visual Odometry (VO/VIO)
- Photogrammetry
- 3D reconstruction
- Strong Python and C++ development skills.
- Experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of transformer-based vision models, multimodal AI or generative AI techniques is desirable.
- Solid understanding of feature extraction, image matching, optimization methods and probabilistic estimation.
- Experience with visualization or graphics tools such as OpenGL or Qt is advantageous.
