Requirements

Must have:

- We require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance, with willingness to pursue a CI Polygraph.
  • We need a bachelors degree in Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Image Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • We require 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and deploying computer vision models.
  • We expect strong familiarity with deep learning methods for computer vision, including YOLO, SSD, and DetectNet.
  • We need proficiency with the Python data science ecosystem, including numpy, pandas, matplotlib, and sklearn.
  • We require working knowledge of Python geospatial libraries such as gdal, geopandas, and shapely.
  • We expect experience with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Cloud Foundry.
  • We require comfort working in Linux-based environments.
  • We need the ability to collaborate effectively with a geographically distributed team.
  • We require occasional travel to government locations for customer meetings and demonstrations.
  • We expect excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and public briefing experience.
  • We require strong organizational ability and exceptional attention to detail.
  • We prefer an advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Applied Geography, Image Science, or a related field.
  • We value experience with image generation models and platforms such as Stable Diffusion and Hugging Face.
  • We prefer prior work in synthetic training data generation.
  • We value experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and AI/ML tools like SageMaker or IBM Watson Studio.
  • We prefer experience with remote sensing, GEOINT datasets, and government collection platforms.

Responsibilities:

- We experiment with innovative computer vision models applied to commercial and government GEOINT data.
  • We design, develop, and deploy components across the full CV pipeline, including preprocessing, inferencing, and data storage.
  • We investigate how synthetic data and generative AI data can be used with GEOINT data sources.
  • We perform data engineering to convert diverse data types in support of the AI/ML workflow.
  • We stay current on advances in computer vision from industry and academia and apply relevant methods to mission problems.
  • We brief internal teams on delivery status, evaluation findings, and project risks or challenges.
  • We work across the full stack of the computer vision workflow, from imagery acquisition and standardization through model experimentation and prototyping AI/ML applications.

The base salary for this position is $185,000 to $228,000 depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
