Construction Superintendent

Summary Sevan Multi Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial retail construction projects across the United States This role is responsible for jobsite safety subcontractor coordination scheduling and execution from groundbreaking through closeout Travel Initial projects are based in Las Cruces NM; thereafter 90100 nationwide travel is required LicensingCertification Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following criteria Hold an active Qualifying Party Certificate issued by the New Mexico Construction Industries Division CID as a General Building Contractor; orHave successfully passed the NASCLA National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies examinationIn addition candidates must meet the following experience requirement Minimum of four 4 years of experience within the past ten 10 years at the foreman level or in a related trade including at least two 2 years on commercial construction projectsProject Types Immediate projects will focus on retail construction in New Mexico Additional project assignments may include retail restaurant QSR grocery fuelconvenience store and federal construction including ground up builds remodels and structural concrete work Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead Field Operations Oversee all onsite construction activities and field operationsDirect subcontractors vendors and field crews to maintain productivity and progressEnsure projects stay on schedule and meet key milestonesScheduling & Coordination Develop and manage short term look ahead schedules aligned with the master project scheduleCoordinate material deliveries equipment and labor to maintain workflowIdentify potential issues early and implement solutions to avoid delaysSafety Leadership Enforce company safety policies and OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetings site inspections and job hazard analysisEnsure proper PPE use and maintain a strong safety culture onsiteQuality Control Ensure work is performed according to plans specifications and quality standardsPerform regular jobsite walkthroughs and inspectionsCoordinate required inspections testing and quality control proceduresSubcontractor Management Manage subcontractor performance scope execution and schedule adherenceCoordinate trades to prevent conflicts and maintain project flowAddress field issues and escalate discrepancies when necessaryProject Documentation Maintain daily reports including manpower progress weather and safety updatesCommunicate field updates and issues to the Project ManagerAssist with RFIs change orders and field directives as neededProject Closeout Manage punch list completion and final inspectionsCoordinate site demobilization and project turnoverSupport delivery of as builts O&M manuals and final documentationQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required;
