One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Supervisor for a position located in Hobbs, New Mexico.
The Construction
Supervisor will be working with contractors to ensure technical and safety oversight.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 7+ years of electrical experience.
Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Offer technical recommendations on electrical activities during construction.
- Oversee low and medium voltage work, including field connections to solar panels and the next tracker system.
- Ensure that all electrical work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful and safe execution of the electrical components of the solar farm project.
Requirements of the Construction Supervisor:
- 7+ years of electrical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience with low and medium voltage electrical work.
- Specific experience within the electrical discipline for solar construction is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the NEXTracker system is highly beneficial.
- Must prioritize and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication skills.
