Controller/Assistant Controller

We have an exciting opportunity at our clients growing company located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. We are looking for a Controller / Assistant Controller to join our team.

Essential Duties Consist Of

General Ledger (month end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting)

Accounts Payable (weekly check runs, vendor inquiries)

Accounts Receivable (review cash application, collections)

Banking (cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, loan covenants)

Fixed Assets (monthly depreciation, project spending analysis, reconciliations)

Taxes (property tax, sales & use tax, 1099 processing)

Follow established accounting processes, recommend process improvements

Liaison with external auditors

Assist Controller with other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance

Minimum 6 years relevant accounting experience

Must be proficient in Excel

Strong analytical skills

Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

Good communication skills

Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

Attention to detail

MRI software a plus

This is a full-time position

Salary commensurate with experience
