Schedule Full timeLocation Hybrid Salt Lake City UT NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Controller to join our National team As a Controller consultant youll monitor our clients financial and accounting status review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions for our clients The day to day responsibilities of our controllers will vary significantly depending on a companys size and needs To be successful in this role you should have in depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP Ultimately youll make sure we comply with accounting regulations and help our clients maximize profitability ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all financial and accounting activities and personnelSet controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investmentsManage all accounting operations including billing AR AP GL and counsel cost accounting inventory accounting and revenue recognitionSupport month end and year end close processesStandardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniquesConduct internal audits to assess financial statusEnsure compliance with federal and state regulationsServe as primary contact for external auditorsQualificationsAccounting or Finance degree BSBAMBAPrevious experience in accounting management or other related fieldsPrior consulting experience preferredExperience in a variety of industriesThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresComfortable working with a variety of ERP systemsStrong leadership qualitiesStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401kIND3
