Data Analyst/Programmer Internship

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree is mandatory.

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Masters program (MBA or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Strong analytical capabilities alongside problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated project management proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access at a working level.
• Ability to thrive in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
• Familiarity with SQL or SAS is highly preferred.
• MS or MPH students or graduates in Biostatistics or Statistics are desirable.
• Experience in survival and longitudinal data analysis is advantageous.
• Practical experience with electronic medical records, Python, R, and Databricks is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

- Provide high-level analytical support for various projects or departments, applying expertise in marketing, information management, finance, economics, or statistics.

• Participate actively in all project phases and take on at least one project, yielding measurable outcomes as part of a team.
• Organize and schedule project tasks, oversee information collection activities, and establish timelines for task completion as assigned.
• Design tools to identify and document best practices within the department.
• Prepare a variety of reports utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and employ database software to create data extracts and management reports.
• Create graphical representations of data as needed using Excel or PowerPoint.
• Play a role in formulating management analyses, providing insights, and supporting the preparation of formal presentations to communicate findings effectively.
• Assist in developing project plans to guarantee timely outputs and successful project completion, demonstrating understanding of business intersections.
• Aid in the creation and development of training materials as necessary.
