Data Analyst specializing in SQL and Python

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or a related discipline - 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or data management (graduate training may be considered as a substitute) - Proficient in R and/or Python for data science applications - Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database principles - Experience in delivering data pipelines, reports, visualizations, or dashboards - Solid understanding of statistical concepts including standard errors, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis - Familiarity with Git, Databricks, or cloud-based data engineering tools is preferred - Experience with healthcare data is a plus, including EHR, claims data, CQL, and HL7

Responsibilities:

- Construct and sustain data pipelines using Python and SQL to generate analytical datasets - Ensure data quality through rigorous control processes, maintaining accuracy and transparency - Execute statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and regression modeling - Create dashboards and reports with tools such as Power BI, Shiny, or R Markdown to improve data storytelling - Collaborate across various teams to establish metrics, analytical frameworks, and output specifications - Oversee multiple projects, estimating timelines and ensuring timely delivery of results - Uphold data security and compliance with governance standards in all tasks
