Data Analyst - SQL, Python Expertise

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree is essential - 8-10 years of relevant experience required - Proficiency in data collection including data cleansing, measurement systems, relational databases, and SQL queries; Familiarity with ETL tools like Knime or Alteryx is a plus - Experience in exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends, as well as detect data anomalies - Strong skills in data visualization, especially Microsoft Power BI and Tableau, to present actionable insights effectively - Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, and Excel Macros, with familiarity in common data science libraries and packages - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and senior management - Proven advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with large, complex datasets; Ability to think conceptually and proactively recommend solutions - Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and Excel, with significant experience in MS Office applications - Results-driven, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives independently - Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, displaying a customer service-oriented approach - Ability to navigate a complex organizational structure and influence peers and management levels effectively

Responsibilities:

- Analyze data relationships to create intuitive dashboards that convey meaningful insights - Design and manage data models, views, and structures for accurate and scalable reporting - Develop user-friendly dashboards with scalable features and substantial drill-down options - Automate reporting processes, including routine refreshes and ad-hoc solutions when required - Transform temporary solutions into permanent, BI-aligned dashboards - Collaborate with reporting teams to enhance raw data usability and refine data structures - Perform thorough analyses using relevant methods and provide insights to stakeholders, including root-cause analyses of anomalies - Monitor corrective actions and verify resolutions to maintain data integrity - Evaluate dashboards for trends and inconsistencies, recommending enhancements to boost efficiency - Ensure reliability through testing, documentation, and compliance across all reporting assets - Maintain version control and thorough documentation for data models, dashboards, and processes - Foster strong cross-team relationships to comprehend evolving data needs and disseminate best practices - Provide support for ad-hoc analyses, reporting tasks, and cross-functional projects as needed
