Overview Technomics is a growing employee owned decision analytics company that provides professional services and management solutions to help our clients make better decisions faster We enable a wide range of clients across the Federal government from senior level policy makers to program managers to choose smartly buy effectively and operate efficiently We deliver practical credible and defensible results offering actionable insights by applying data driven and analytics based approaches in combination with multidisciplinary talent subject matter expertise and tangible and repeatable assets in the form of databases models approaches and techniques Analysts have the knowledge skills abilities and initiative to deliver timely practical and innovative solutions to our clients as part of high performing project teams typically composed of a mix of junior and mid level analysts Our employee owners pride themselves on their ability to apply deep analytical rigor and innovative thought that assist clients in understanding and solving a myriad of challenging resource planning and management problems This position may be located in Arlington VA Headquarters Washington DC Pentagon Springfield VA Chantilly VA Tysons Corner VA Position Specific Overview Data Analysts will support a US Government client in developing data driven solutions using Palantir Foundry and related technologies The role will support data integration transformation analytics and user facing applications that improve access to mission and business information The individual will work with technical teams and end users to develop data pipelines analytical workflows and applications translate requirements into practical solutions and support testing and implementation Relevant experience includes Python SQL JavaScriptTypeScript ETLELT low code development cloud technologies and UXUI design Direct Palantir Foundry experience is preferred but not required Responsibilities and Qualifications Develop maintain and improve data pipelines transformations analytical workflows and user facing data products in Palantir Foundry and related technologiesWork with client stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements troubleshoot data issues and translate business needs into practical analytical solutionsAnalyze clean integrate and validate data from multiple sources to support reporting analysis and operational workflowsDevelop queries scripts dashboards applications and other analytical products using tools such as Python SQL JavaScriptTypeScript and low code applicationsSupport data modeling database design testing documentation and deployment of new capabilitiesApply UXUI and user centered design principles to improve the usability of dashboards workflows and analytical applicationsUse modern software development practices including Git testing version control and collaborative developmentMinimum Qualifications 2 years of experience in data analytics data engineering software development or a related technical fieldExperience with Python SQL and JavaScriptTypeScriptExperience developing ETLELT pipelines and working with relational databases and structured dataExperience with low code application development cloud technologies or UXUI designAbility to work directly with users to understand requirements and develop data driven solutionsStrong analytical problem solving and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Palantir Foundry or comparable data and analytics platformsExperience with PySpark Spark or other large scale data processing technologiesExperience integrating practical AI capabilities such as LLMs or machine learning models into user facing applications workflows or analytical productsPrior experience supporting US Government clients or working in regulated environmentsSalary range 85000 150000 USD The salary range listed is one part of our total compensation package which may also include bonuses incentives and benefits Individual compensation is determined based on qualifications such as relevant years of experience education certifications and geographic location Technomics is an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected status under applicable law including disability and protected veteran status
